Prize raffle helps support the Veterinary Benevolent Fund Charity

Nutravet are pleased to announce the winner of the prize raffle that we undertook at the London Vet show in aid of the Veterinary Benevolent Fund Charity. The winner, pictured here receiving the prize was David Bentley from Bell, Brown & Bentley vets in Leicester.

The Veterinary Benevolent Fund provides financial support for vets and their dependants. At the moment the Veterinary Benevolent Fund is helping about 130 people (beneficiaries and their dependants). All applications are dealt with in strict confidence and with the utmost discretion. Remember that VBF is the profession’s own charity and is entirely devoted to vets helping their colleagues and families in need. You do not have to be a supporter to qualify for their help.

A big thank you to all that took part and help raise money for such a good cause.

Nutravet launches Nutracys+

Due to the success of our existing ‘Nutracys for cats’ product we are proud to announce the release of Nutracys+.

Nutracys+ has been developed to help manage the common problem of Feline Cystitis and has the added benefit of helping to reduce stress and anxiety through the inclusion of L-Tryptophan, whilst also containing N-Acetyl D-Glucosamine and Quercetin to further aid healthy urinary tract function.

Reducing stress and anxiety is considered to be very beneficial in the management of Feline Cystitis in cats.

The key ingredients in Nutracys+ are:

  • N-Acetyl D Glucosamine offers support to the bladder lining acting as a natural barrier to protect the underlying urinary tract layers.
  • Quercetin moderates the pro-inflammatory cascade and recent studies have shown Quercetin to be particularly beneficial in supporting urinary tract function.
  • L-Tryptophan naturally calms the cat by reducing stress and anxiety levels.

The launch of Nutracys+ continues Nutravet’s successful development of market leading products that are available exclusively through veterinary practices.
